On Friday, June 10, 2022, all IES Ingredients team members were proud to inaugurate their new 3,000 m² eco-designed premises located in Allauch.
We would like to thank our suppliers: Givaudan, DSM Personal Care and Aroma Ingredients, Albert Vieille, Aethera Biotech and May Flower. We would also like to thank Mayor Lionel de Cala and David Sussmann from Pure Ocean Fund.
Construction of the new buildings began approximately two years ago to expand and modernize the production and distribution site.
Today, the 3,000 m² facility includes a more spacious storage area (capacity multiplied by 5) as well as dedicated loading and unloading areas better suited to the needs of our clients – manufacturers, brands and contract manufacturers. The administrative offices have also doubled in size to accommodate the growing team. Finally, 3 application laboratories for cosmetics, perfumery and food flavors have been created at this new site. The purpose of the application laboratories is to develop and present demonstration kits to our clients in order to showcase our ingredients for each sector of activity.
In the longer term, digitalization is one of our future projects, with the aim of improving stock management and CRM, and providing us with a sales and services platform open to our clients, featuring our full catalogue, order history, etc. The next step for IES Ingredients will be the opening of a 300 m² storage facility in Dubai to complement and meet the needs of our clients in the Middle East and Africa.
The inauguration was divided into two parts: the daytime event took place at the new site with our clients, partners, team members and press. The event then continued into the evening with workshops, tours of the old port and tastings. Throughout the day, our Perfumery and Cosmetics application laboratories were made available to give guests a tour of the facilities, as well as to introduce them to and let them test a beauty routine and an olfactory workshop.
The beauty routine consisted of 4 products including:
Giraffe foam cleaner cleanses and moisturizes the skin thanks to Alpaflor and Pentavitin, while leaving a delicate fragrance of organic complete Ylang Ylang essential oil.
Scarlett macaw scrub is designed to exfoliate and soften the skin thanks to Pentavitin.
Pep's flamingo serum has smoothing and plumping properties thanks to the peptides SYN-AKE, SYN-HYCAN, SYN-COLL and hyaluronic acids present in HYA-ACT XS.
Chameleon summer cream protects against the sun thanks to SPF PARSOL EHS, PARSOL 1789, PARSOL SHIELD, PARSOL EHT, and evens out the skin tone thanks to its encapsulated pigments.

The olfactory workshop featured 6 materials, including 4 synthetic and 2 natural:
Bergalin by DSM: with fresh, citrus and bergamot notes
Ambermax 10% by Givaudan: with amber, woody and cedarwood notes
Osmanthus absolute from China by Albert Vieille: with fruity, animalic, leathery, floral and tea notes
Organic fresh ginger essential oil from Madagascar by Albert Vieille: with spicy, resinous, citral, earthy and woody notes
Velvione by Givaudan: with musky, powdery and animalic notes
Isobutavan by Givaudan: with gourmand, vanilla, sweet and fruity notes.

Finally, the entire IES Ingredients team would like to thank Mylène Cohen and her team at l'évènement by M., as well as Protocole Agency, for organizing this wonderful inauguration.
