Pink October: IES Ingredients Supports the Fight Against Breast Cancer

IES Ingredients Stands Alongside Octobre Rose

Every year, Octobre Rose is a key moment for raising awareness of breast cancer screening and for mobilising efforts in the fight against the disease.

On this occasion, IES Ingredients wished to show its support for this vital cause by involving its staff in an approach that is both community-minded, collective and local.

The No Limit Challenge Shared with Staff

As part of its commitment to Octobre Rose, the Town of Allauch launched the Défi Octobre Rose Connecté, Le Défi No Limit. Free and open to all, this challenge invites participants to cover as many kilometres as possible by taking part in an activity of their choice, including walking, running, cycling or swimming.

IES Ingredients shared this initiative with its staff by email, to make them aware of the challenge and to give everyone the opportunity to take part at their own pace and according to their own preferences.

Beyond sporting performance, this initiative encourages physical activity, contributes to raising awareness of breast cancer screening and helps to strengthen a sense of unity around a shared cause.

A Human Pink Ribbon to Symbolise Solidarity

IES Ingredients also wished to express its support through a collective and symbolic action. Gathered outdoors, staff members formed a human ribbon inspired by the famous pink ribbon, the emblem of the Octobre Rose campaign.

Captured in a photograph, this collective creation illustrates the teams' commitment and their desire to send a message of solidarity to all those affected, directly or indirectly, by breast cancer.

A Local and Collective Commitment

Through its relay of the No Limit Challenge and the creation of this human pink ribbon, IES Ingredients has joined the movement championed by the Town of Allauch for Octobre Rose.

The town is indeed organising several actions aimed at raising public awareness of breast cancer screening and supporting the fight against the disease.

These initiatives serve as a reminder that everyone can act at their own level: by taking part in physical activity, by sharing prevention messages, by encouraging screening or simply by showing their support for the cause.
