The multinational company DSM has been working for 10 years on improving its carbon footprint and implementing sustainable development initiatives. This greener philosophy is applied in particular to the cosmetics sector, and the ALPAFLOR® ingredient range is the perfect symbol of this.

DSM Personal Care invited us for a day at the heart of its ALPAFLOR® fields, located in the Swiss Alps. We had the opportunity to walk among fields of Edelweiss, Thyme, Alpine Skullcap, and more.

During this journey, we gained a true understanding of the sustainable cultivation of ALPAFLOR®, their harvest, and the extraction process of the cosmetics active ingredient.
